    I do not know anything about the belt or the belt buckle. It was owned by a WWII veteran who served in the Navy on the USS Colorado.

      The web belt and the modern tongue that doesn't go with it indicates he may have been a belt buckle collector. The buckle and emblem don't fit in with naval dress.

      Was he a collector?

      I do not think he was a collector. I think it might be more of a veterans souvenir type piece though.
