Paoli (?) Chair, how much should I pay?

I have my eye on this chair but Im not sure how much I should be willing to pay at an estate sale? They want $1200, I offered $400, they said they'd take $500. That was last weekend, and it's still available. Can anyone tell me what it is actually worth?
