I "found" this chair being thrown away and I couldnt pass it up. The sides are cane and the material looks to be about the 70s. One of the straps have disinegrated and there is no padding in the seat but the material is intact. I would like to have it reapolstered but do not know what the correct material would be to keep with chairs age. I believe it is Danish but am not sure can anyone tell me anything about it? There are screws in the bottom and they look quite old. Another friend of mine thought French because of the material but I just dont see it.

Definitely Danish Modern and I would guess early 1960s. Great lines and wonderful original fabric!
