I bought this pin a gazillion years ago at a flea market. I'm intrigued by it because while the styling seems vaguely art nouveau to me, somehow the construction feels older. Or perhaps not - maybe it's all consonant. The metal might be brass; I'm not sure.
Just thought I'd share since CW recently ran an article about mourning jewelry, and I thought this might be an example.
