    anybody know what this is

    this looks kind of like a walking stick but to heavy and to short

    has some type of marble on it and a glass ball in there

      At a quick glace , I thought maybe a small lamp stand,. can you twist the top off or does it pull out? Hummmm?

      I'm thinking this is a smoke stand/floor ashtray.I would assume the finial/handle will screw off and there used to be an ashtray there which probably got broken.
