    I love this little 'shmoo- like' critter and I'd love to know some things about it. It's made of a red clay, so I wonder if it is possibly from Central America? It also has a bit of the Nordic Horse about it - but is rather clearly not a horse. Is it a 'Nessie' ?
    It is about 8 inches long and about 5 inches high. I bought it off eBay in my early days of collecting, and there was no information given.
    There's a beautiful hand-drawn image on the back, which is reminiscent of seeds or shells. I'd love to be able to identify it. Thanks.

      Reminds me of Mexican Tonala. I just googled Tonala Pottery and clicked on Images, I saw a couple of horses similar to yours.
