      Hello Prich49,
      As the tag on the back says it is from the Pierce Airo Company and is a model KAD-1747 made around 1932 and was called the Chest. It was originally made for use with DC voltage and not the AC we have now. See more about this set at this link: http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/dewald_kad_1747ches.html
