We found this at an Antique store and just loved the colors and design. It needs a new electrical cord but otherwise it pretty good shape. You cannot tell but at the bottom or each metal divider there is a drop at the bottom with a blue slag glass piece in it. We have no idea what it is worth but we bought it to put in our next house possibly in a dining area or in a reading area. We are looking to buy a house right now and thought it would be great to build a room around it.
Ruth Ann, at first I overlooked this lamp because slag glass shades come up to often and poor reproductions have flooded the marketplace. But, when I looked at the picture close up, I was impressed by the metalwork. Also, this color of glass does not come up that often. The blues and greens will really pop when lit. I think this was originally a gas fixture; it has the typical open top for venting. I don't know who made it, but it is quality. I think it is a little small for a dining room, but a breakfast nook or any other smaller room would look great; especially if your furnishings match a little. Thank you for sharing it with us.
We are still house searching so I am sure we will find the right place for it once we move. We really loved the colors in it too! We brought it home but have not had time to see if there are any markings on it to give us an idea of who made it. Thanks for the comment!
Does anyone have any information on this light. I just bought the exact same one from an auction and can’t find a lot of information on it. I almost thinking it was the same one as posted here.
