    Hello I am looking for any information on the pictured lantern ...... I have never seen one like this.... So far I can not find anything.... VEJLE H. on the top.... hand stamped...15.5 inches tall plus 3.5 inch chimney... 10.5 inches deep and 8 inches wide... lens on front and back clear 6.5 inches... I have more Pics if you need them... Thanks in advance..... Pete

      Still no positive ID on this lamp yet... Local News Paper will be doing a story next week... One of the old timers here thinks it may be off one of the old Civil War Iron Clads..... made in Ciro Illinois.... supposedly there were many Danish folks working on them and that may be the marking origination....

      VEJLE H could be a reference to Vejhle, which is a sea port in Holland.

      Sorry, I misspoke, Vejle is in Denmark.
