We have aquired these unique rocking chairs and would like any information about them. We know they are 35 years old and the large one was purchased for about 800.00 They are wood and have a rawhide? seat and back. There is no markings anywhere on them from a manufacturer. Any information would be appreciated, also wondering a value? Thanks for any information in advance

I have one of these and I was just researching it myself. Where did you get it? Mine is from Newfoundland, Canada.

It is an AMAZING chair! Large enough to sit in crossed legged!

I'd love to know where and when you got yours, maybe we could piece something together.

CogD, We purchased our chairs at a garage sale in Surrey, BC. last year. We haven't been able to find out much except since there are no markings someone suggested they maybe were handmade and possibly back east?
