The blue Dogwood Sprays bowl is one of a couple known, while the other 3 items are not as rare... just ones with great iridescence!
The Fanciful plate is a great example of Dugan's work, and the Embroidered Mums bowl and the Three Fruits stippled plate are both stunners from Northwood.
You forgot to put up your dogwood sprays bowl
Nice Three Fruits, but Dont You hate how the Fruits Get Scraped Up on the Pattern?
I actually hadn't forgotten it: since it was watermarked, they had to remove it.
I have put the photo back up, minus the watermark.
And, yes, I do find that most of the Three Fruits examples have wear to the fruit, just like so many other "raised" patterns have... and I wish it were not so!
I know right! Have you seen the Pumpkin Three Fruits Stippled Bowl I Put up?
Is that your Ebay Name?
I have not looked at your bowl yet, but will try to find it and check it out.
No, "The Majestic Eclectic" is not my eBay name; it is the name of my online shop on another site.
Ohh wow really? Ive considered making my own website... but im not 100% how I would get people to come to it, soo I just sell and buy on Ebay and so far this months been Wonederful... I just sold a Horehound Good Luck Bowl for $500! where do you get all your glass?
Congratulations on the sale of your bowl.
I used to get nearly all my glass from antique malls and eBay. While I still pick up pieces from these places, it is not in the amounts from the 90's.
More profitable venues are estate sales and auctions, appraisal service finds, and want ads.
Great bowls. I mainly collect white carnival glass and it is hard to find. I also own one of the bowls you have pictured. I am thinking of selling my collection so will keep watching your info. Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words, mammi.
If I can be of any assistance to you with the selling of your glass, please let me know.
