We don't know how rare or common this piece is but it is a highlight in our collection as this is the only one we have ever seen...other than a picture in only one collectors book. Any additional information appreciated. Thanks!

Is the base glass clear?
Yes, Paul71. It seems that the base is clear glass (crystal, as they call it). It's a pretty neat piece.
