I was looking for the name of this type of pottery as well as who made this piece. It is marked on the bottom but I couldn't find out any information on it. It is about 10" tall and it looks old but I am not sure. Please help me with more information about the age, maker, value, origin, etc. Thanks!

fhrjr2, hmmm, my mother use to say "if you don,t have anything good to say" maybe just move on to the next post. emersonestates, try googleing "sanded majolica" while your piece has some obvious damage collectors of this type of pottery are somewhat forgiving. Now everyone take a deep breath.

My mother always said: Speak your mind. She also said: Never ask a question unless you are prepared to listen to what you may not want to hear.
