Your trunk is from the 1880s- early 20th century.

Take a look at ebay to see what price they typically sell at.

Keep in mind that these are costly to ship, so bidders will take that into account.

I would expect higher prices to be realized at a local sale where it doesn't have to be shipped.

yale & towne was formerly just yale. But Yale died shortly after the company Yale started in 1883. So sometime after 1883 it was changed to Yale & Towne Manufacturing Corp. SO your trunk was manufactured after 1883.
