Hello all! I purchased these lovely earrings in a big lot of estate jewelry. I think they may be saphiret, sapphirine?? I would love and appreciate your feedback. I may just be wishful thinking but they look like it to me!! :)
    Thanks,
    Tonya

      Howdy Tonya,
I dont think these are Sapphire or Saphirit, I could be wrong so dont quote me lol... sapphire is usually a deep blue precious stone and saphirit tends to be a light pinkish blue stone. I think your stones are nice cut glass rhinestones, very pretty!

Thanks for your input Rotten Vintage. I was pretty sure they were not saphiret and I knew they weren't the deep blue sapphire but, I was wondering about sapphirine. It is a lighter blue than the old saphiret which has the brownish/pink/purple hues. Still a mystery! At least they are pretty! :)
