Breyer horse found in Oregon about ten years ago. Notice only one foot on the ground. I've been told that this is difficult to find in this condition. The horse plugs into the base and is very fragile. Would be very easily broken. (My grandkids can't reach it).

One of the most interesting runs Breyer ever did, depicts all three phases of an appaloosa's life thru the changing of it's coat.
Created from the Hobo mold, this sculpture was originally introduced in 1975 by C. Hess
Phase 1 is a matte bay blanket appaloosa; light brown stand, black points, hinds socks.
Phase 2 is a matte leopard appaloosa; chestnut spots, medium brown stand, shaded face, chestnut points.
Phase 3 is a Matte leopard appaloosa; black and brown spots, dark brown stand, slightly shaded face, gray mane & tail.
These were reproduced in 90's as a set also . See Link
Very Nice ! Love it !
Oh PS The link is for the reproduced one just to clarify that :-)
