I know it's an old "car" from a carnival, amusement park "dark ride". It was made by Pretzel. I have always wondered what ride, or park this came from.

I would contact Dark Rides- Laffinthedark.com. I bet those guys would know. The entire website is devoted the the old Pretzel style dark rides in the U.S.

I tried the Laff site a year or 2 ago. They didn't have any info then. But thank you for the suggestion.

I've been trying to find that out ever since that car first appeared on eBay. You of course know it was originally a Pretzel darkride car. It is not the original styling, having the addition of the rods along the side and back as well as the bat on the front. My guess would be the bat may have been an addition by Bill Tracy as he did add bats to some cars. As far as the ride it came from, I'm clueless.

Thanks Rick. Looking at the chips in the paint, I can see that this car was every color of the rainbow over the years.
