    BOUGHT THIS AT AUCTION TODAY, I COULDN'T RESIST IT. THE AUCTIONEER SAID IT WAS ROY ROGERS BUT HE WAS MISTAKEN. WORKS PERFECTLY AND HAS NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE ANYWHERE. NO IDEA AS TO AGE BUT I IMAGINE THE 40'S-5O'S? VERY HEAVY. MADE OF SOME TYPE OF GLASS.

      IT'S HOPPALONG, IF YOU LOOK CLOSE AT THE GLASS THE EMBOSSMENT SAYS HOPPY. ALSO HIS SILVER WHITE HAIR WAS HIS TRADEMARK.

      Yeah this is an Aladdin Hop A Long Cassidy night light as the title says.And this type of glass is called Alacite.If it is prewar it will glow under blacklight.
      A very beautiful and VERY collectible lamp !!
