    On the back of this photo there is some writing in old ink that reads "HRH 76". I am guessing that the HRH is reffering to the abbreviation for Royal Highness. In pencil it reads "Great Grandmother King with some strange symbol after it.

      i think it likely than king is a family name,hrh maywell mean something else.cirtainly not any English monarch.

      While "HRH" does have a royalty connection, I don't think that is what is meant here.

      I suspect that "H.R.H." is in fact the initials of the woman and "76" is her age at the time the photograph was taken.

      The more modern pencil ID is a guess that her name was King (probably wrong) and the symbol "(?)" simply represents the fact that the ID is uncertain or questioned.
