This little beauty goes out to Monsieur Bellin, who posted one so similar the other day that I fell off my chair, I think it was the bottle that knocked me off my chair... Anyways, I wrote that I would post one that my Godfather gave me that I believe belonged to his father. It is a beautiful decanter, but has no markings. I wondered if this is the same glass blower that did your bottle, Bellin, or if anyone recognizes this design. I love that it is crooked. No fooling around...when you pull that decanter out with brandy you know you're going to get a little bent out of shape, just like the bottle!! Help to the CW "Think Tank", what do we have here? Is there a name? Could it be an amateur at action? It is SOO similar to Bellin's, minus the bent shape...hmmmm..can't wait to hear anyone's ideas. Thank you as always to this generous and hospitable community!!, mich
Scandinavian, you are TOO funny, oh my God, I love Star Trek, that was my generation, and never knew I had the famous futuristic bottle. I remember the scene so well where Scotty tries to get the guy drunk, heck, I recognized all the scenes...too funny. It is exactly like my bottle. At the end of the scroll, where he shows his bottle, I can see they are the same. Hopefully we will find the artist!! Thank you so much for the laugh and great info, that's great!! Have fun, Mich
scan, that was the first photo where I realized it was definitely the same. the way the yellow "liquor" sits in the bottle made me positive!! Good chuckle, now I will drink from it more often, and pretend I'm Uhura, singing and having a space pop!! Mich

But don't forget the other entries as well for a fulsome account of the Trek's guide to decanters and space chic!
Quark's Qantina.
This could well be a defining moment for the re-intrdoduction of the decanter.
And some will say: "It's about time....."
And for the Kluk Kluk there's the story of Jacob Bang and his design here:

Click on "Designere" and click then on Bang, Jacob Eiler for the design references. Notice too that there is a crackle version of this decanter.
This is a fabulous site for anything on Holmegaard.
Fill up the Kluk Kluk and have one for me!
Happy St Patrick's Day to all!
I was born in Dublin, and I think I just might have a nice nip of scotch, (I keep it for the orphans), and perhaps I'll tip my very chic futuristic decanter to all the kind folk!! There's a little Irish in all of us!!
Vetraio, thank you for all the info,it's so entertaining , peple think it is hip to say that Star Trek is corny and I say , "Ah Blarney to Ya" Star Trek rocks, or at least it did when I watched it every day of the week as a kid and thought it was so cool that all these babes were at the helm, and all the different life forms , some peaceful, some aggressive, art imitating life, great darn show!! Have fun, be safe and count your lucky stars you're not on the West coast...we are being battered by storms.
Sure and begorra! Take care!
I like the green tone to that Kluk Kluk.
The stopper is really nice.
Un-frickin-believable...the exact same bottle, on all those episodes..I am surprised i didn't recognize it, well that was a great romp in the past!! Hilarious!!
