    In response to a previous post, I promised to show how the sign was used.
    Here you go . . . it was used in a built up fashion as shown. Many times it would incorporate a privilege panel along with a coke logo sign of some fashion. It was used between 1938 and 1941. In 1941 the "new betty" signs came into play. They were the ones with the guy and the girl on them.

      If you think I am a "plethora" now, just wait for my website and book. They too are chalked full of information useless to everyone EXCEPT the .0003% of the population that collects coke! :) Website should be up in a couple of weeks. . . .

      lol oh yea i guess i forgot to reply to this post... i totally understand why the frame looks the way it does, at first i thought they cheaped out on it, but now looking at a complete sign the frame job much nicer :)
