Washoe woven Basket

This is a large Washoe woven basket. I got it a few months ago and I love it. It is about 9 inches in diameter at the top where it is widest, and about 6 inches around at the bottom. It is about 5 inches tall but it is not the same all the way around, one side is shorter due to the single rod being finished on the one side which makes that side bigger in height. It has a nice design around it and fits right in with my other Paiute basketry. Before long I am either going to have to buy another cabinet to keep my ever expanding collection in or I am going to have to stop buying...lol. Enjoy the pics.
