EARLY 20TH CENTURY OAK DESK. A RARE AND UNIQUE PIECE WITH DRAWERS ONLY ON THE LEFT SIDE. MY GRANDFATHER (WHO DIED IN 1948) HAD IT MADE THIS WAY BECAUSE HE WAS BORN WITH A CONGENITAL DISABILITY IN HIS RIGHT ARM.

    Unsolved Mystery

Commonly referred to as a "S Curve Roll Top Desk", for the curve of the roll top. Factory made piece of furniture, the bottom could be configured to either right or left with the same pieces. Appears to be nice original condition.
