This is another find at an estate sale. They stated it was in the family and was a black forrest grandfather clock tallcase. I would love to know the approx age, type of clock and a value. Thanks.
This clock keeps perfect time. Chimes on the hour and half hour.
He's handsome.
Thanks for looking and any info will be very helpful.

Christine615,
Unless someone just happens to know a clock by sight, we'll need as much information as you can glean from the movement and the case to even try to make an identification. Patent dates, manufacturer's name. Even that may not be enough. I'm coming up blank on "dmgr germany". Germany exported tons of clock movements! Many American Clock manufacturer's started up their businesses by "casing" German movements...some ended up do so before they went out of business.
Measurements are essential to know but I normally use the to confirm or rule-out a particular model.
Regards
Thanks I will keep looking in side and out for any info.
