Would like information on this sign my husband found in shed

My husband found this sign recently and we want to donate it to a local charity auction. We would love to have some information to use to describe it at the charity event. The sign is 22" x 6 3/4" and has about a 1 3/4" ledge along the bottom back side. It might have been bolted to a counter or some type of display.
