This choker necklace fits a very small neck. I've tried to find out more about it but to no avail. Choker is signed twice. Once on the pendant, the second signature on the hook part.
Would like to know approximately when this was made. Also, what type of material are the razor thin green "rounds"?
I researched on the internet but could not find any information about a necklace similar to the one I have. This is why I posted the pictures in the hope someone out there could help.
Your Necklace is beautiful! Love the green!
@sewingfool -- thanks for the additional information. You write that my necklace was made during/after the 50s. Is this so because of the style? Or the type of signature? I am aware that in the late 70s there's a different clasp.
I have viewed many Miriam Haskell necklaces on the internet but none, I mean none, came even close to what I have. Can you point to a necklace that is similar to mine?
Thanks!
@vintagejewel -- thank you so much. It's a wonderful piece. Have you seen another one like it or one similar?
No I have never seen any Miriam Haskell like yours -not even in costume jewelry books so I was thinking it must be a pretty rare piece! I only own a pair of Miriam Haskell earrings but love the Necklaces they are all so Unique..
@vintagejewel -- no problem. I thought it was a glitch. Will remove the repeat emails.
i see this post is from 7 years ago but i have been searching for a few years to fins anything like the mirium haskell necklace and braclet i have. and this is the one and only thing i have found that has the same green sliver rounds. what i know about is that was given to my mother in law in the early 70s bought for her from eatons. that is all i know about it.
