    This is a vintage Case XX Usa single blade folding knife. From the tang mark I was able to identify that it was made between 1965-69. I was hoping someone may have an idea of the model name.

      The XX would indicate having been checked twice by quality control. I think I still have their identification database but on my computer at home.

      It's a slimline trapper. If you post the number on the tang (assuming there is one)I can tell you how to read it, or you can google Case tang stamps which should get you to the site with the entire somewhat confusing story of how to read them ;-))

      Except that link shows a much newer model not the version from 1965-69.
