The bike is beautiful for it's age , the battery tube still has the original cardboard inserts with instructions ..

Nice '35/6 Shelby. The thin battery tube would be original to the bike which powered the Delta headlamp, would originally been on the down-tube. The accessory battery, which looks like it powers the big horn was a catalog add-on. The Troxel Supreme seat was a '36 item, as was that style of front sprocket, while the stainless raingutter fenders and perforated hockeystick style chainguard were usually seen on '35 models, so this looks like a transitional year bike. The black w/ red darts paint scheme is also seen almost exclusively as '35 too, as almost all of the '36 models of this frame were blue w/ red darts. If this was a purely '36 model, it would have came with a stainless tank(batteries inside), an "S" horn light in front, a chrome rear rack and no battery tubes. The cross-bar on the handlebars would most likely be gone too.

I'd actually be interested in your bike if it's available, since I have a '36 and this would make a nice pair.
