Very old Coca- Cola Cardboard Frame picture !905 Lillian Nordica It says Drink Carbonated Coca-Cola in Bottles 5 cents bottle on table. I have been collecting since I was a little boy 60 now just love antiques. Condition very old some rare, fading. looks like the painted with dots. Size 13 3/4 wide by 17 1/2 long. History came out of a very old Resturant In East St. Louis just before they tore it down. It might have came out of a old trolley car in St.Louis not sure The old patina is present. I have been trying to reserch this item for ten years now. I sent pictures To Beth Markowitz which is president of a large Coke Club. but I am not a member so I could not talk to anyone about the piece. But she did send me nice email back. She sent I could not begin to give you a value for this piece. Things of age are to come by however, this piece appears to have significant fadig and damage which would detract from its value. Also it has been trimmed. Thanks Beth Still unsolved Mystery I gave up trying some time back could not get much help on this fine artifact she was a famous singer. If you can help be great Thank you Jim

I've seen this 1905 image printed with "at Soda Fountains" on authentic period signs and coupons. I always assumed the same printed with "carbonated" and "in bottles" were reproductions. The Coca-Cola logo should have the trademark info printed in the tail of the first C. Hard to tell, but it appears that info is printed below the logo, and includes a circled R symbol, which dates it much later than the original. One of the early Coke experts should know for sure. I love this image, thanks for sharing.

It was issued in the 1970's to hang in some of the bottling plants with other images. It has been trimmed down. It does not date to 1905. It is a very common mistake made by a great many people as these aren't that hard to come by. I am sorry it not early like you think it is.

Hey Jim, I hope you continue to post items from your collection, the number of years you've been at it is very impressive, you have some interesting stuff! Don't fret too much about the Lillian sign. You've seen in my collection (thanks for the compliment), I've been fooled by several Coca-Cola repro's myself. It can be very difficult at times to tell them apart from the authentic pieces. I've found this Collector's Weekly website to have the most reliable and knowledgeable experts, who are also very generous sharing their experience. More than once I've avoided accepting a fake piece because of these sharp-shooters. So keep the hits coming, looking forward to seeing more!

Well, if it were me, I'd want to see the complete example and additional fun facts. Sometimes the reproductions are interesting too. For example, I didn't know Petretti endorsed these particular 70's repro's as of high quality collectibility.

Yes Sir Big Daady. Yes I aware of the 1970 reproduction, Just Like the one I have. I think they were redone further back then the seventy maybe 20 -30 not sure yet. There has some record out there when they first made a copy on cardboard. This is one of the first one poduce back before 1970, she was very famous person. This why I put the item in hear to fine the History have not got there yet thanks. I have tried contacting Petretti no sucess and also tried talking to the Michell family because they had a large collection of Lillian. Now you no why I have tried for years got tired trying to find out but I will not give up till I find out must be the Indian Blood Thanks Coke collector your Great People. Jim
