    This set of 4 little milk-glass chicken pedestal bowls belonged to my husband's grandmother. They are 3 1/2" high and the bowls are about 3" in diameter. The combs, beaks, eyes & feet are hand-painted. I do not see any identifying markings on them and have been unsuccessful in finding comparable items online . We would really appreciate any information regarding this set.

      this is by Westmoreland Glass from around 1950 and a remake in milk glass of an earlier crystal version.

      Thank you very much for the info - that was very helpful! I wonder how much they would be worth today - I'm guessing more than the original 4 for $5.
