Hard to find Lorus 50th Anniversary Fantasia Disney watch that features Mickey shaking hands with the movie conductor Leopold Stokowski. No longer in production.

Lovely watch, is it the women's or the man's version of this piece? I have the women's and just haven't posted it yet. Thanks for sharing your treasure.

Hi! Thanks for your comment - actually I bought this watch many years ago at Disney in California, however, I don't remember whether it's considered a man's, woman's or unisex. I wore it for a short period back then and then it has been away for so many years and only recently found it again. Is there a way I can tell? I can't find much online about it other than the "rare" and "out of production" status and details of the markings that it should represent as the watch itself. I was even considering offering it for sale on eBay but not sure what it would be valued at.. do you have any additional information you can share? Thanks so much! :)

Sure thing, I'll give you the lowdown here in a little bit, I've got to go to town and pick up my wife from work. I guess that makes me a "Real Go Get Her". Sorry had to throw that in.

This watch is unisex and was made in 1991 by Lorus (Division of Seiko). Quartz movement. These didn't sell very well in 1991, so there are fewer out there today. The watch in the picture appears to average to heavy ware on the case lugs. So the value would be on the lower side for a collector. If you still have the paperwork, boxes, or sales slip, this would increase the value. Would hate to guess at what it might bring on e-bay, but I say $15 to maybe $50, the way it's pictured, a little more if You've got the box. Then again it depends on the day. Hope this gives you a little insight. Again thanks for sharing your watch with us.
