A Hodge spur rowel threaded by a heavy single line wire. It seems the hole in the rowel was too small for the thick single strand, puckering the rowel slightly and preventing it from freely turning. There are 10 points on the rowel and 3 rowels per 18". This wire was found in Canada and has no patent number or name listed in the current literature. It will appear in the new Hagemeier supplement with the number 223 G. A very neat wire.
We sure like that patina!!!
would look good in my collection
