Ok, this one's a little bit tougher than the Nash Metropolitan dashboard. You guys nailed that one too quick, I'll give you one hint, it's a salesman sample to promote the product. And as you can see, it was used by a Conoco salesperson. Now, what is it?

WOW, way to go packrat!!!! you knew more about this demonstration piece than i did. My unit is missing a couple of pieces, the glass, & spatula. I couldnt figure out what the 4 hollow sloted tubes were for, or the spring that holds the spatula. Nice detective work getting the info. I didnt think there was anouther one out there. Mine was in the oil bulk-plant my father bought in 1964, at that time it was a Sunray D-X jobbership but previously had been a Conoco & an Alemite distributor. The old sheetmetal building had been there since the 1920s & had 4 railroad tank cars that had been converted into above ground gas & diesel storage tanks, set 8 feet in the air on stone & morter footings! We actually continued to use them up until the 1990s when we sold out to the city of Sand Springs for an "urban renual" project. As you might imagine, there were plenty of goodies in that building when we bought it, luckily i saved most of them before the sellout. Well, your the man, thank for playing"what is it?" Vanna, tell him what hes won!!!
