My grandmother in Terre Haute, Indiana had one of these in her basement and I always loved it. Sadly hers was thrown out when she moved north to be close to us, so this is another Ebay purchase. It sits atop my 'fridge and reminds me of her.

I have one of these also. I remember him coming around as a child. Good stuff! Did you know the vermont country store sells charles chips in the can?

How much are they going for on eBay? Im looking for one from around the 60s or 70s to go with the one I have from my childhood. Help????? Lol

Vermont Country Store still sells these and Charles Pretzels in a tin, and they also sell Charles Chips in the bag (for refilling purposes). The original tins of varying ages sell on Ebay fairly cheaply, like under $20, but the shipping can be costly. They turn up at antique malls often too. If you're looking for an old one on Ebay, make sure there's no bar code or weight in metric measurements. That should ensure that you've got something pre-dating the 1970's, at least.
