I am attempting to help my Mom understand what exactly she has in the family China. I know that this collection dates back in the family to about 1850. The family is from Massachusetts and they were very prominent family at that time. We have nearly the entire collection-plates, saucers serving dishes etc. The Wedgwood name is stamped on the back of the plate and we think the pattern is called, Lilly. However we don't seem to find it anywhere else. Any help would be appreciated.

looks like Wedgewood 'Water Lily' (remember lily had just one L). Try a google image search for Wedgewood Water Lily and you may see your color.

also, if you will edit your post and put the image of the top/front of the plate first more folks will see it and be able to help/ It is a very pretty pattern.
