I bought this photo at my local antique store and love it! Trying to figure out it's age and where the Mohawks may have been from. Tried to do some research on the internet but didn't find much... if you have any ideas let me know.

Uniforms look like very late 19th century to beginning of the 20th.

Based on your photos it is hard to tell if it is an old image or a later copy.

The photo format may help in determining age-- can you take some full view photos of the entire image area, front and back, out of the frame?

Unfortunately, unless you can find a studio name and /or address, it would be awfully hard to identify the team just by the name. There were probably dozens of high school, college, and semi-pro teams named Mohawks at the turn of the century. Awesome photo, though!

Thanks for all the info and ideas everyone - it is definitely a copy of an original old pic... newer frame and came out of a vintage clothing store in Miami.
