Generally, I don't collect things more recent than the 1960's. But because I'm from south east Michigan, I had to have this. Boblo Island was an amusement park that operated just short of 100 years, 1898 to 1993. It was located on Bois Blanc Island, Ontario. Ontario is just across the Detroit River from Detroit, Michigan. The SS Ste. Clair and SS Columbia steamers operated as ferries between Detroit and the amusement park. It was known as Detroit's Coney Island.
