I'd love to find out more about this full sized poster my husband found in the garbage. Is it worth anything? This is a double sided advertising poster made by the Colgate Co. before they merged with Palmolive. It has some type of net between the two sides. I think the poster is made out of oilcloth but I am not certain. I sent pictures to various people I found online but no one can help me. Can you?

I can't tell anything about the netting inserted into the paper, but you can bet it was put there to make the poster more durable.

My guess was this poster was provided as an educational tool- perhaps for school homemaking classes. Or it could have been designed for women to post in their laundry room. I prefer the former, but it's just a guess. It's awesome, by the way.
