1978 Schwinn De Luxe Twinn

This is a Tandem that I bought from the original owner in PA. She won it in a contest in 1978 and rode it very little. I had customer bring it to an event we both attended in Bristol TN. It then traveled back to Kansas City, MO. We have 4 tandems. This WAS a single speed. The bike is heavy and difficult to get up a hill. So..... I fixed that. It now has a Shimano Nexus 7 speed rear hub. This bike still does not climb like a billy goat but.... It does go up a hill... We took this to Disney, at Christmas, where we stayed in Fort Wilderness... (That is the campground at Disney) It was a blast to ride around the campground!
