well its an old clock i found last night in a shack , no pendulum , or key however the gong and the mechanics all seem to work
william gilbert clock , stamped 1912
any ideas on parts or someone have any ideas on where i can get parts?
timesavers clock company or merritt's the might have what you need.
I have to love this clock for it's long chime rods. With its large case acoustics and those long chime rods it must have a very nice two-tone strike.
actually it does sound really nice, its low n has alot of bass to it , itll be nicer when i make a back panel for it n get it all cleaned up n workin again i guess. only things i see as an isue is the pendulm back panel and the key for it . . funny tho i looked on the website but couldnt find one the same , so i still dont know if its value is worth the cost of getting it working again or not
it has some old fashioned grainy looking glass panels in the front behind them lil meshes
Your clock seems to be a Dual Chime. Parts can be obtained online like on ebay or other places.
