We found this in my Great Grandpa's warehouse.
It appears to be a porcelain sign and one side of the flange style sign has a black Monarch range and the other side has a Blue range. there is some rust on the sign but no holes we have come to the conclusion upon looking at different ads on the Monarch Malleable website this is approximately from the 1913 era. Could anyone out there give me any more information... even what something like this is worth. ( i posted this yesterday but was deleted due to picture quality- hope these are better images!)

Hi Tootsprior..........Here I go again sticking my neck out, but its because this piece caught my eye. Not that much surprises me, but this one did! Monarch was a huge company during the hey-day of stoves & ranges. Your sign dates from the era around the 1920's, not much newer than that. It is manufactured from tin, not porcelain. Although my specialty is country store porcelain enamel advertising, I can appreciate this gorgeous piece of american advertising history. I would guess that even with its condition issues, it would be several hundred dollars. If it were about like new, it might fetch $1,000 or more, but the problems seen in your photograph cut into this ideal 'top' condition figure substantially. If that piece was indeed porcelain, and in top condition, you might be looking in excess of $2,000.00. But, hey,...........everyone's got to have a dream........................... Thanks for sharing this rare bird...............Mike Bruner

Hi, what a nice sign. As a stove and advertisiing collector this is right up my alley. lilykittycats assessment is pretty right on, this is a tin sign not porcelain. A porcelain sign will have a finish like a old bathtub, and will chip off. The reason for the different colors of the stoves is that one side was exposed to the sun and faded. This double sided sign is what is referred to as a flange sign.
