Bought this 1962 Premier Twin 8 Amp from a nice guy in January 2012 who was clearing up his aunt's estate. It sat in a closet for 50 year after being played once. Dent in the lovely gold foil is from the butt end of the 1962 Argonne AR-54 microphone that was stuck between the foil front and the wall for half a century. Love the Eddie Munster hairline front grill he says, dating himself.

Had to replace the tremolo 12AX7, amp sounds fabulous. Bass is much tighter than I would have guessed. The amp has a gorgeous upper end chime. There is no doubt this version looks a lot better than the later cube versions and it sounds better too, imho. Works great with a guitar and is highly regarded for harmonica.

Did you like this amp? Would you like to see 100 nice large photos of clean 1960s Teisco, Kingston, Harmony, Noble, Zim-Gar, Airline, Audition guitars, plus some amps?

How about 5 SS-4Ls, 1967 Harmony Rocket serial #0001H59 (yep, the first 3 pickup version in 1967), Teisco May Queen with the only original case you will likely ever see and others?

    Then check out http://s1180.photobucket.com/albums/x412/SudoNimh/My%20Guitars%20and%20Amps/

I got really tired of wanting to look at non-Gibson/Fender guitars and only being able to find 10k ratbag mini-pics, so I took higher res pictures of mine and put them up so others would have a place to go. There are infinitely better collections, but it is what I can contribute. I hope others will do the same wherever they can. The Internet lives, storage is cheap - dump the mini-pics! Help out, show the world your gems in screen filling glory. My photos are being upgraded further as time allows.

Would love to buy this from you! I play harmonica and would treat her right!

@hardiman20 Glad you liked it but it will be staying here next to 2 more recent acquisitions of its ilk; a 1940 Epiphone Electar Century and a pristine late 1950s Premier 110 with the original cover that will arrive tomorrow. Patience and lots of time with special searches does pay off. Yes, they all get played regularly, amps and guitars are not trophies, they should be used - carefully. Happy to post pics if you want or visit the link above.
