Firstly, i would like to say, the larger image is of same medal/coin.
The smaller two are the coin i have in my hand, i couldnt enlarge the image so for ease i have displayed the other image, hopefully you may if interested enlarge my images of the said coin. i might add, if you do you will see it is of fine quality and in very good condition.
(deep intake of breath) I know it is circa 1748, showing the Duke of Cumberland striking Bonnie prince Charlie with a stick, cursing him "come back again" see what you get then.
As you probably know, it was made in support of the anti jacobites, at the battle of Culloden, in 1748, or there abouts.
I have searched the history if the peice but confused as to the value.
The value varies once again of between, £50 up to £300 ???? how can this be so?. Please if any one has a more concrete value, id be very appreciative,
thankyou and thankyou again in anticipation. Norma
