After seeing trunkman's communion table I thought I should post these. This item is from our local Church that was being sold so I bought the contents last fall.
I have two communion sets Oak case, 35 glasses, made by the LePage Individual Communion Cup Company, Toronto. US patent Nov 5 95 Canadian Patent Jan 21 96
That is some awesome communion set -- great pulpit too. The detail on the communion set, particularly the offset base of the cup so they don't shift is a nice piece of workmanship. Thanks for keeping the heritage alive! Now with your pulpit, my communion table, your set...gee...

@vetraio50, that is a tragic piece of history, he was a courageous young man, how did you come upon this article?

Thanks for the love & the comment, Bellin.
I'd never seen one of these here in Australia; so I googled "LePage Individual Communion Cup Company, Toronto". It was one of the first ten hits. I too was struck by the tragedy and the date.
@vetraio50, I guess I missed that one when I did my research on it last fall. You seem to be like me I always want to know more about some of the items posted here. Thanks for showing such an interest in it.

@vetraio50, after reading that article again, I looked up "Japanning", as I didn't know what this was. Here is a link to the process on metal.
