need help identifying this photo any help would be great
Great photo postcard. I really like the split hand grip on the bat.
Good luck on figuring out who "Chief" was-- I am not familiar with the face or the uniform initials.

thanks scott i looked up and down the internet im wondering if it was a local baseball team from the town i received it in thanks for looking i have tons of post cards that are rppc i have an appraiser coming to look hopefully good news ha
Being the mid state hic that I am...:-) does PSNS, mean Puget Sound Naval Shipyard?.. Try a Google search..??? Did not look for Chief, but did find references to early sports at PSNS ??? Love the old photo...
The RPPCs are very desirable and some bring big bucks.
I'd put this one in the $40- $65 range. I really like the pose with the bat, so I may be higher than others!

I'm intrigued too! So I found this:
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard located adjacent to the city of Bremo on Sinclair Inlet was established in 1891. It was the first dry-dock and repair facility in the Pacific Northwest capable of handling the largest ships. It was named Puget Sound Naval Station until July 22, 1901 when it became Puget Sound Navy Yard. On November 30, 1945 it was renamed Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, PSNS.
So in 1906 it should have read PSNY
thanks for the info ..im still lost on this i have a appraiser coming monday so we shall see ha thanks tho
Thanks!
