Wonderful example of an artist's conception of healthy lungs during the Madmen daze. Best hung on a wall, as you certainly could not legally utilize it's function in our 57 states...... ;-) Part of the kitch collection originally obtained in 1980 from Pueblo, Colorado.

Oh boy, how do I break it to ya softly? Well, technically I suppose it is whatever you want it to be and can be used however you like as well....if I didn't know any better I'd have probably come to the same conclusion as you honestly...BUT this is no ashtray...this is actually the divided vegetable dish by Metlox in the "Aztec" pattern for their line of freeform MId Century dinnerware....there is also a BEAUTIFUL jawbone/boomerang dish that they made in several patterns as well...Id love to find an ashtray as sharply angled and as large as that dang jawbone dish.
