    I bought this off of Craigslist and I would like to know what type of car it may have come off of? Also, if you could tell me whether or not it is an antique? If this is the real deal, is it worth more restored or "as is"? The cap appears to be brass and te wings are cast from metal. the total height is approx 2" and wing span is approx 9 1/2". The inside diameter of te cap is is approx 2 3/8" Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

      It looks very much like a Model "T" ford hood ornament but their's had a temperature gauge on top. Some Model "A's" had the same type.
