Here you can see my three Blomberg jugs and one, the yellow, which I thought to be designed by Blomberg too, then i thought it was made by Ryd but it seems it's actually a Bo Borgström design for Aseda.
You have been a posting fiend! My head is exploding with how pretty it all is! You and Carlos have a wonderful two part collection! So focused. So wonderful.
I'm still looking for the left one..
Thanks Amber! he always says my collection is one of the most focused ones he's ever seen :) As for his, he claims to collect "great moments of human design" :)
@Glasswareuy: That one I saw in moss green some months ago and it is amazing! I wish you luck with it!
I'm pretty sure the yellow pitcher is not by Kjell Blomberg: I have seen a red one with a sticker saying it was made by the Swedish glass manufacturer Alvesta.
You might get hits if you search the internet with the key words "Alvesta glasbruk".
Thanks designqvist! I recently asked the people at the Gullaskruf glass page in facebook about it and they confirmed it is not... they said it could be Tyd, but the ones I've seen at Ryd Glasbruk hasen't got lines as straight as this one.
Thanks for the hint and i hope I can find something.
(at some point it's a pity it isn't a design by Blomberg... it is so nice it deserves being, LOL)
great looking set all kind of pieces i never saw before im learning alot
Thanks vlkma! I feel a strong attraction towards everyday use design objects, that's why I have this sort of obsession for jugs and decanters...
At some point in my collecting glass I though I had a nice collection of very normal glass items. Most of them cannot be considered art glass.
Well, it seems that the yellow jug is an Aseda jug after all :)
yep, I have the Ryd one in yellow with the Ryd sticker still on it ;-)
Have you got it? :) will you share it? (the picture, I mean :) )
