Replica of a 1 Crown coin. On the heads side it says "DEI GRATIA REGINA ELIZABETH II ". On the tails side it's "1609 BERMUDA 1959" and "ONE CROWN" If I was to guess I would say that it's made out of tin. But it's tarnished like copper. It's relatively light. I was told that if you put too much lighter fluid in it, it would leak. It was in some of my fathers things. Made in Japan. Perhaps a touristy item?

this type mock coin lighter was designed by emil lieberman of new york in 1948. it is a copy of ww2 trench style coin lighters. these were made in japan from the 1950's thru 1960's and are very common but fun.
