They look like Clydesdale horses and from the chains ect seem to be more modern porcelain horses. have you looked inside on their legs and under belly for any marker marks ? Very Nice I love work horses . See if you can find a mark on them that would help and what size are they ?

      Thanks very much Manikin!

I never thought they could be Clysdesdale!

There seem so to be no marks under belleies nor legs!!!

I think that these are old, very maybe?

      Two legs are broken.

      Plus some porcelain chips exists!

      Maybe that tells age?

There are some felt under the feet, which I don't dare take off,
      or should I?

I didn't download these pictures to look at closer. Your circus wagon wasn't marked either but what was on it told a story. I would look at the tack on these horses before I looked at the horse. I seriously doubt the silver chain is original. Everything else is a gold tone on both horses. One horse has gold/brass ring and no chain and the other a silver ring and modern chain. The fact that they have damage doesn't help as far as value goes. Based on what I see and what you say, I would concentrate my research elsewhere if it were me.

PS: I agree that they are suppose to be Clydesdale horses. The area above the foot has been made to look feathered which is a trait of a Clydesdale. If you wonder what I mean by feathered Google Clydesdale and look at images.

      Thanks FH!

      You give good information.

I do wonder if they are Clydesdale, however?

Concerning the Circus wagon or so, there is a mark, maybe marks even,
but I am too exhauted right now to seek that; sorry.

Regarding the horses, there is one foot which has an iron like thing: a shoe?

      Could they be Percherons?
